Love this piece! I think it might help define the form of the face more if you were to move the hair strands so they fall around the shape of the nose instead of over it. I'd also recommend adding a highlight where the bridge of the nose would be to give it some more form!

The hand is looking pretty good but I would try to add some more form to the thumb and fingers - like joints and knuckles, to show which angle the fingers are bending a little better. That should help with the "inside the mouth" look.
